Young, Free and Living for Eternity with Jackson Adkins

Jackson is amazing. When we recorded this podcast he was only seventeen. I harper on quite a bit about his age in the podcast, because I am so impressed and inspired by his maturity and character. It's so beautiful, exciting and heart-enlarging to consider this incredible generation of God lovers and how sold out for Christ they are...and how these passionate, consecrated ones are living radical lives of liberation, of truth, purpose and of Christ-like love. We have so much that we can not only pour out upon them so that our ceilings may act as their floors - but we also have much to learn from them!

 

And so I'm superrrr duper stoked to share with you my chat with Jackson who is about to embark on a gap year before he starts university. We chat about his experiences of being raised in a Christian home, some of the challenges he has faced growing up as a Christian teenager and the things he has overcome. 

 

We also delve into his heart for his generation!  He shares some of his favourite encounters, revealing some of the precious thoughts that God has been laying on his heart, he gives some advice for other teens but mostly he just adores Jesus.

 

I love the purity of his heart, I love his hunger for God, His love for the Word of God and the holy convictions by which he chooses to live his life.
