I address the role of the believer and the wider church, in helping the sexually broken to heal and be restored, both within the church and beyond. And I look at what it means to love like Jesus loves, in a world full of sexual brokenness.

I continue my super rich, thought-provoking convo with Stephen James Hart and we unpack what restoration and wholeness can look like when it comes to sexuality! We explore what we do with temptation and how we contend for sexual freedom and our original identity. We also chat about what rewiring our desires towards true intimacy can involve and the beautiful role the opposite sex can play in healing and in restoration from sexual brokenness. Stephen James Hart is the loveliest of souls. And I got to have a beautiful chat with him about finding restoration in Christ after experiencing sexual brokenness. In this powerful two part conversation, Stephen shares some of his very real, raw and beautiful journey of wrestling with same sex attractions as a Christian and navigating through an addition to porn since his teenage age years, to finding freedom, wholeness and restoration in the love of God and the acceptance of those around him. Stephen chats with me about some of the influences that impacted his sexual journey, his experiences growing up grappling with his sexual orientation and how the beautiful nearness of Jesus carried him the whole way through and continues to do so.
After six years as Art Director at Bethel Church, Redding, where Stephen experienced life-changing healing and hope, he has recently moved home back to New Zealand. He is now serving as Creative & Communications team leader for a local church and he is passionately and purposefully pastoring creatives and helping them step into their truest identity. He loves evangelism and the bride of Christ and his passion will bless your socks off!

We are back with Part 2 of my amazing convo with Peety and Noelle Escovedo! I am ridiculously excited about this two parter with my beautiful friends Peety and Noelle Escovedo! I love this couple so much! This episode features a recorded session from the Sacred Sexuality Conference at Jubilee Church in California in October 2019 where I spoke about raising children and young adults with a healthy, holy and celebratory understanding of Biblical Sexuality. This episode is super encouraging and informative for parents, leaders, youth pastors and teachers who are involved in raising or supporting children and young people and who want the kids in their care to confidently walk in Sacred Sexuality!
The session covers: role-modelling healthy intimacy, addresses the different stages of sexual development when children are growing up, raising kids in a highly sexual society, being sex savvy as parents and leaders, navigating through media, entertainment, cultural influences and sexual messaging influencing our young people, stewarding the sex drive and fostering healthy accountability.
