In Episode 10 I unpack the most common versions of worldly sex! I address fornication, homosexuality, porn and masturbation and bring further understanding about why they are simply not God’s best for us - even though they do bring some level of pleasure and satisfaction! I also explain why as common, normal or desirable sexual practices as they may have become, they are simply incompatible with God’s original order for sexuality. Another super insightful episode bringing truth, revelation and freedom and unveiling true intimacy!

This is the final part of the three parter miniseries addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual repercussions of engaging in counterfeit intimacy! This episode is pretty darn DEEP and it unpacks the sobering reality of potentially inviting the demonic into the mix when we engage in sexual immorality. I talk about sexual demons and how the doors to visitations from sex demons, can open when we find ourselves living lives of sexual dysfunction - whether it’s because of stuff that we may be involved in or even demonic doors that have opened because of someone else’s actions or because of things we have experienced that we aren’t even aware of! A super vulnerable but powerful episode that I pray brings so much freedom, truth and breakthrough to anyone that might need to hear this!

This is part two of a three parter addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual repercussions of engaging in counterfeit intimacy! This episode unpacks how deeply and destructively emotional and sexual connection outside of marriage affects our brain, our neurology and our soul!! I delve super deep into the topic of soul ties and how ungodly soul ties can be created even in godly relationships when we have strongholds and idolatry in the mix and I also deal with counterfeit attachments and talk about how to break them on a practical, neurological and a spiritual level. Episode 7 begins to unpack the very real and raw repercussions of engaging in counterfeit sex and intimacy upon our body, soul and spirit! There are so many repercussions of experiencing sex and intimacy outside of God’s Biblical framework which impact us on every level of our being! And the world is unable to warn us of all the destruction that comes with the seduction of sexual disorder because dysfunction and darkness is simply part and parcel of worldly sex! But sexual darkness and dysfunction is not part of God's original plan for our sexuality and nor is it His best for us!
In this episode I address the negative impact that pursuing worldly sexual norms and becoming one flesh and cleaving to someone in sexual intimacy outside of God’s divine order for sexuality, can have on our physical bodies!

This is Part 2 of my fabulous convo with the wonderful Katrina McCain! In this concluding episode we talk about marital sex, navigating the seasons, staying honouring and the importance of bold communication!
Katrina is a former Fashion Model from Charlotte, NC, and the author of Beyond Being Good: Seeking Christ's Perfection for Our Imperfect Hearts. She is filled with so much passion to encourage women of all ages to live for Jesus authentically, in spite of the culture that tells them they can’t. She is the proud wife of her husband, Jarrett, and mother to her sweet girls, Kailyn and Jaelle.
I loved chatting with Katrina. I loved hearing her perspective on sexuality which was a beautiful balance between adventure and childlikeness coupled with seasoned maturity! So good! I also so enjoyed the value and love for the Word that Katrina carries and the way that she so boldly applies it to her sexuality with such conviction and authority! And I also really enjoyed the freedom and authenticity that she brought to the table. I know you are going to enjoy this episode!!

Many of you will know Josh and Kara from various different platforms - they are both incredible creatives both as individual whether it’s through music or poetry, social justice or well being, or as part of the Orphan No More collective that they founded - Or even the most recent work they’ve been doing in the fight against racism - and not to mention the many other things that they are involved in!
Their heart for God, the way they do marriage, life and intimacy is so embedded in a pursuit of true connection and authenticity! They have been married 9 years and have just had their beautiful first baby only days ago. Soooo precious!
