She explores why sex within covenant is so sacred, meaningful and purposeful and breaks down how deeply embedded this principle of covenant intimacy is, not just within marriage but also within God's relational purposes for mankind and His loving kindness towards us. Episode 1 of Season 2 of The Living in Light Podcast kicks off with an intro to the topic of Sacred Sexuality - which will be the theme of the whole of Season 2. Podcast host Bobbi Kumari shares her testimony of living a life of promiscuity and the journey God took her on to prepare her to preach this message. She also introduces and unpacks what she believes Sacred Sexuality is all about.

In this episode I continue chatting to my beautiful mama as she shares how her life radically transformed after she found herself widowed in her mid forties yet began to trust God with her brokenness, her guilt and shame and with her future. What ensued was a heart-healing, faith-evoking, water-walking journey into the unknown as she said yes to God and to His call over her life to build an orphanage and adopt the fatherless.
She embarked on a life of living from miracle to miracle and confronting fears and foes alike as she discovered her identity in God and became a powerful woman of love, compassion and influence. Shielded by divine favour and rooted in God's love she shares testimonies of God's grace, goodness and intervention that truly encourage the soul.

In this episode I am chatting to my delightful mum, who has inspired me endlessly. She remains the most inspiring person I know and if I can walk in even just an iota of her grace and courage I will be blessed beyond measure.
My mum runs a children's home in India and is mother to many. She also has built a school, a care home for the elderly and runs a church as well as being a massive blessing to the village and town that surrounds the Emmanuel Home, that she founded in 2004.
This is part one of a two part convo where my mama shares her experiences of being raised in a small village in India without a father and being married at the tender age of fifteen to my dad who was fourteen years older than her. She describes her life with my dad here in England as she wrestled through the turmoil of a painful marriage and the bondage of a fruitless religion.
We journey through her salvation story and marvel at the beautiful way that God showed up to break open her prison doors, liberating her life and turning her beauty into ashes. She unpacks how He took the tragedy of her fatherless history and transformed it into a life-changing pursuit to adopt the many.
A heart-enlarging episode.

This is Part 2 of my delightful conversation, with my gem of a friend Patrice Patrick who works as a TV/Film Production Manager in Hollywood and runs her own branding and mentoring company, Together Good Company.
In the second part of our chat Patrice continues to share her delighfully tender heart, as she speaks of nurturing her team and those around her up so that her own life may be a stepping stone for others to soar from. Her pastoral, compassionate, generous heart is so ridiculously evident as she talks of her desire to develop those in her sphere of influence and how she uses different platforms to passionately pour into others, be it her blog, her business, her counsel, her instagram...the list is endless!
She totally keeps it real as she speaks of journeying through sexual purity in Hollywood and the struggles and temptations she faces as well as the strategies she has applied on order to keep herself grounded in her walk of celibacy. She's got some great advice for anyone thinking of pursuing a career in Hollywood who is wanting to walk in purity and holiness! Patrice is also an amazing example of a single, sanctified and sassy chica who owns and celebrates her sexuality with holiness and joy and we talk about this too!
We also chat about her brand Together Good Company and the heart behind it. Everything Patrice shares is from a place of love and intimacy with God. It's drenched with heaven and hearing her speak is like sitting in a heavenly spa. She is full of life and passion and is radiating God's love, light and liberty in truly delightful ways.

Jackson is amazing. When we recorded this podcast he was only seventeen. I harper on quite a bit about his age in the podcast, because I am so impressed and inspired by his maturity and character. It's so beautiful, exciting and heart-enlarging to consider this incredible generation of God lovers and how sold out for Christ they are...and how these passionate, consecrated ones are living radical lives of liberation, of truth, purpose and of Christ-like love. We have so much that we can not only pour out upon them so that our ceilings may act as their floors - but we also have much to learn from them!
And so I'm superrrr duper stoked to share with you my chat with Jackson who is about to embark on a gap year before he starts university. We chat about his experiences of being raised in a Christian home, some of the challenges he has faced growing up as a Christian teenager and the things he has overcome.
We also delve into his heart for his generation! He shares some of his favourite encounters, revealing some of the precious thoughts that God has been laying on his heart, he gives some advice for other teens but mostly he just adores Jesus.
I love the purity of his heart, I love his hunger for God, His love for the Word of God and the holy convictions by which he chooses to live his life.

Worship Pastor, Life Coach and Freedom Fighter Diana Anderson shares some of her personal journey of contending for healthy, biblical sexuality and true intimacy as an individual, a wife, mother and leader - as we both chat about God's amazing design for our sexuality.
Diana lives in California with her lovely hubby of over twenty five years and her four fabulous kids. She is Worship Pastor at Jubilee Church in Camarillo, California and is an inspiring leader, talented creative - with an incredible heart for God and for people. A champion and ambassador of those that she loves, Diana is deeply passionate about seeing her family, her community and those that are in her circle of influence lives their best lives.
She unpacks her own journey of what intimacy has looked like for her, being raised in a Puerto Rican family and how this impacted her relationships and intimacy in her marriage. Diana candidly yet sensitively shares some of the struggles she experienced because of dysfunctional ideologies surrounding sexuality and intimacy and how these mindsets began to shift! We talk about her ensuing pursuit of sexual wholeness not just for herself as an individual, but as a wife, mum and as a leader in this generation. And we explore some of the resources, strategies and lessons that she has benefited from since embarking on this beautiful journey - which continues to unveil each day, new freedoms and greater wholeness.

Bianca Rose is my best friend. She is mum to my gorgeous god-daughters. She plays a huge role in creative direction for the Living in Light brand and she is a chica who is full of creativity and craftsmanship! She is also the incredible voice behind the intro and outdo song 'You're Beautiful' - written and sung by this beauty.
In this episode I chat to this wonderfully talented singer-songwriter and super creative cool-cat who is also co-founder of I Am Independent, as we explore her creative process - honing in on some of the journey...on some of the fears she's embraced and the mountains she has overcome, along the way.
Bianca tells us about her latest music projects and some of the collaborations she's been involved with and she gives us some insight into what the collaborative process might look like for her!

We chat about the repercussions of sexual sin and the enslavement and dysfunction it can lead to when we engage in casual sex and sexual immorality.
